The Game We All Play – Zelena Hull

The Game We All Play

What are we without a purpose, do we have to find a cause? After years of fighting for something you finally get it and then what? What happens when your expectations haven’t been meant and the facade cracks apart? Is the most dangerous game an endless one which in the end has no winners or losers? All of our conflicts and constructed identities are momentary flashes in the pan.

Lyrics:

Where do we go now?
We’ve gone through snow and the fire and ice
We need each other more than ever
Where do we go when everything’s been perfect
Something comes along to end it

This is the game we all play
This is the game without a name
Forever unsure that’s what’s it’s always been
This is the game we all play
This is the game without a name
Forever unsure that’s what’s it’s always been
A game, A game

Taken a throne a king disowned
A wolf on a bone we’ve taken it all
When all has been won
Where is the fun in bending the crown and breaking the throne

This is the game we all play
This is the game without a name
Forever unsure that’s what’s it’s always been
This is the game we all play
This is the game without a name
Forever unsure that’s what’s it’s always been
A game, A game

Game we all play

This is the game we all play
