Endless road – Zelena Hull

Endless road

No one knows who’s really telling the truth. Is it an urban legend? What happened to this man’s family? This song is a song about concealment, revenge, and the uncovering of what really happened down that endless road. This single was inspired by the dark atmosphere of horror and true crime. I wanted to use norms of movie orchestration and turn it on it’s head. It’s up to you to find out what truly happens at the end.

Fun fact about the creation of the background: The intro actually was an attempt to record Becky on a broken Mic and I was like oh that’s terrifying. So I just added a little effect to it and it was scary. I then layered it over the top of a small musical segment.

Lyrics:

Long time ago on an endless road

That went on for miles and miles

There used to be a carpenter’s house made of red brick

Nobody really thought much of it

Nobody knows if it’s a lie or the truth

Went down long ago before my youth

Some people say he’s still there to this day

Below his house the remanence of his sins

He’d always go to church on Sundays

He would always sit alone

The look on his face said he was in another place

Where it was, they never found out

Nobody knows if it’s a lie or the truth

Went down long ago before my youth

Some people say he’s still there to this day

Below his house the remanence of his sins

One day the pastor asked if he could stay

The man simply walked out of service that day

Later on, they said was a bullet in his head

And a letter written in red

Nobody knows if it’s a lie or the truth

Went down long ago before my youth

Some people say he’s still there to this day

Below his house the remanence of his sins

Nobody knows if it’s a lie or the truth

Went down long ago before my youth

Some people say he’s still there to this day

Below his house the remanence of his sins
